According to the sources, the government approved the a Rs 651.771 million project to establish a National Center for Testing 5G/IoT Products and Services.
The decision for the package was made during the third meeting of the Departmental Development Working Party (DDWP) for FY 2021-22 which was held at the Committee Room of the Ministry of IT in Islamabad on Friday, and was chaired by Federal Secretary Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui.
The meeting highlighted the importance of making full use of funds set aside for IT projects by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications.
The Chair was informed about the current status of projects, particularly as it related to the use of funds.Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui, Federal Secretary at the Ministry of IT and Telecommunications, spoke at the meeting and emphasized the importance of using funds for projects as soon as possible
