As Pakistan faces its annual smog season, foodpanda, the country’s leading online delivery platform, has introduced the “Breath of Care” initiative, distributing 8,000 Smog Safety Kits to riders nationwide. The initiative aims to protect riders from the harmful effects of rising air pollution while reinforcing the company’s commitment to health and safety.
Each Smog Safety Kit includes protective face masks, anti-smog glasses, allergy medication, Joshanda sachets, honey lemon lozenges, rose water, and reflective stickers for enhanced visibility. Ahsan Malik, Head of Logistics at foodpanda, highlighted the program as a testament to the company’s dedication to its riders’ well-being during challenging weather conditions.
The initiative was made possible through collaboration with partners including Bright Vision, Herbion, Hashmi, and Cool & Cool. foodpanda emphasized that this program is part of a broader commitment to creating a healthier, more sustainable working environment and mitigating the adverse effects of smog on both riders and the community.
