An Asian black bear cub was targeted by poachers in Neelum Valley, Azad Kashmir. The cub named Daboo was orphaned with intentions to sell the cub. Some rescuers learned about the inhumane act by the poachers and tried to approach the officials for help. The ears of the cub were cropped by the poachers, the authorities didn’t respond as they should have, so the rescuers tried whatever they could to help Daboo.
The 12 Year Old Bear Cub is Caged in a ZOO
As the cub was mentally and physically in pain, the small FREE Living cub was caught by the Punjab wildlife department after they raided the rescuer’s home to put the small helpless Daboo in a zoo. While it is inhumane to approach wildlife for the sake of bounties or money, it is also really sad to know that the authorities didn’t take any action against the poachers, but constrained a FREE Living bear cub into a forced caged life inside a zoo.
