US President Joe Biden arrived in Israel on Wednesday, embarking on a visit to express support and hold discussions regarding the escalating Gaza conflict, according to a Reuters reporter aboard Air Force One.
After getting off the plane, with a substantial security presence, Biden warmly greeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog on the runway.
“Welcome, Mr. President. We appreciate your commitment to the security of Israel,” Herzog’s office quoted him as saying to Biden.
