On Sunday, First Lady Begum Samina Arif Alvi gave rickshaws to individuals with disabilities. The rickshaws could be entirely operated by hand and were made specifically for the special people.
Begum Alvi added in her brief remarks that these contemporary rickshaws would benefit the disabled in becoming self-sufficient. She suggested that every attempt be made to integrate the special individuals into society at large.
She continued, “All the sections of the society should play their role in achieving this objective,”
