Arshad Nadeem: Proud of Pakistan

Arshad Nadeem, a javelin thrower, earned a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games on Sunday in Birmingham due to a throw that broke the record by 90.18 meters. Netizens are applauding his performance despite the fact that he is hurt as well, and they are willing to give him another gold medal for bringing the title home.

In a match that featured former Olympic champion Keshorn Walcott, former Commonwealth and world champion Julius Yego, and world champion Anderson Peters, Nadeem claimed victory. The weightlifting record was broken on August 4 by Nooh Dasagir Butt, making him the second Pakistani to earn a gold medal at the Games. The same day, Shah Hussain earned a bronze medal in judo.
