90,000 Pilgrims to Perform Hajj via Govt Scheme
Lahore – Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, has announced that approximately 90,000 pilgrims will perform Hajj this year under the Government Hajj Scheme.
During a press conference in Lahore on Sunday, he shared updates on the preparations for Hajj 2025, stating that Hajj flights will commence from the 29th of this month.
To ensure a smooth departure process, officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs will be stationed at airports nationwide to assist pilgrims.
The Minister highlighted that special attention is being given to pilgrim training, helping them stay well-prepared and avoid any inconvenience in Saudi Arabia.
He also noted that the Saudi Minister of Hajj has assured him of excellent arrangements for this year’s pilgrimage.
