Unilever, Tufail chemicals set shampoo's largest raw material plant

Unilever Pakistan and Tufail Chemicals have established the Largest Raw Material Plant for Shampoos in Pakistan for Rs 1 billion.

Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood shared this news via his Twitter, today.

Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood said:

“We would like to congratulate Unilever Pakistan & Tufail Chemicals. For establishing Pakistan’s largest raw material plant for shampoos with an investment of PKR 1 billion.”

Abdul Razak Dawood also said:

“Such initiatives not only contribute to reducing Pakistan’s dependence on imports. It also creates opportunities for subsequent export of the finished products.”

Moreover, Abdul Razak Dawood said:

“This is in line with MOC’s MAKE-IN-PAKISTAN initiative for Import Substitution to revive our industry & create jobs.”

Abdul Razak Dawood further said:

“I urge our business community to enter Into partnerships with international companies to enhance local production. And become part of global value chains.”
