PML-N Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar is set to become Pakistan’s law and justice minister once again at the request of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Tarar’s resignation as minister of the law last month for “personal reasons,” the federal government named Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in his place and assigned him the second responsibility in addition to economic matters.
After over a month’s time, Prime Minister Shehbaz requested that federal ministers ask Tarar to remain the law minister and that he not accept his resignation.
Sadiq, Rana Sanaullah, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Marriyum Aurangzeb, and Ishaq Dar were among the ministers who met the senator at his home and delivered the message from the prime minister.
After the discussion, Tarar spoke to his bar group. Following his conversation with them, the PML-N leader decided to return to the cabinet.
