ISLAMABAD — Senior diplomat Tahir Hussain Andrabi is expected to be appointed as the new spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), according to official sources. Andrabi, who is currently serving as Additional Foreign Secretary, is a seasoned officer in Pakistan’s diplomatic corps with extensive international experience.
The decision comes shortly after Shafqat Ali Khan was appointed as Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, prompting a reshuffle within the ministry’s senior ranks.
