Sweden Offering Fully Funded Scholarship to Pakistani Students

Sweden has announced fully funded scholarships for master’s programs under the Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals 2024-2025. The initiative aims to foster educational exchanges and strengthen ties between Sweden and eligible countries, including Pakistan.

Prospective applicants must be citizens of eligible countries, enrolled in a Swedish University for an SI scholarship-eligible master’s program. Notably, they should possess a minimum of 3000 hours of work experience and demonstrate leadership skills. The SI Scholarship is highly competitive, and students are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria thoroughly.

Financial Coverage and Benefits

The Swedish Institute Scholarship (SISGP) 2024-25 is a fully funded opportunity covering the full tuition fee, medical insurance, and providing a monthly living allowance of SEK 12,000. Additionally, successful candidates receive a travel grant, access to the SI Alumni Network, and membership in the SI Network for Future Global Professionals.

Eligibility Criteria for the Swedish Institute Scholarships 2024-2025:

  • Applicants must be citizens from the above-provided list of eligible countries.
  • They should be enrolled in a Swedish University for a SI scholarship-eligible master’s program.
  • Furthermore, applicants must have demonstrated work experience and have completed a minimum of 3000 hours of work experience to be eligible for the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals.
  • Applicants must show leadership skills and experience.
  • Students must be mentally and physically fit.
  • They must belong to one of the eligible countries of the Swedish Institute Scholarships.

Benefits of the Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP) 2024-25:

  • The SI scholarship in Sweden 2024 will cover the full tuition fee waiver.
  • Swedish Institute Scholarship (SISGP) 2024-25 will provide medical insurance.
  • Provision of SEK 12,000 monthly to the awardees as living expenses.
  • SEK 15,000 will be provided further as a traveling grant, but for the scholars of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, an amount of SEK 10,000 will be provided. This is a one-time payment for international students only.
  • Awardees will get access to the Swedish Institute SI Alumni Network after graduation.
  • Scholars will also get Membership in the SI Network for Future Global Professionals (NFGP).
  • The SI Global scholarship is an opportunity to study in one of the European countries for free.
  • Furthermore, it is a chance to explore European culture and live in Sweden.

How to apply for the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals 2024-25?

  • At first, applicants have to apply for the university’s master’s program between 16 October 2023 and 15 January 2024, and they can select the top 4 SI scholarship-eligible programs.
  • They can submit their admission application online at the University Admission Portal.
  • After applying for the master’s programs, applicants will receive an application number. Save that application number for the SI scholarship application.
  • The applicants have to apply for SI scholarships separately after completing their admission application.
  • They can apply for the Swedish Institute Scholarships 2024 for international students between 12 February and 28 February 2024.
  • Now, start your application for the Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professional Program 2024.
  • All the applicants should submit the supporting documents and application fee before the SI Scholarship deadline.
  • The application must contain correct information.
  • Successful applicants will be notified about university admission by 21 March 2024; only those who get admissions confirmed will be considered for the fully funded Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals.
  • All the successful applicants will be informed via E-mail if they are finally selected for a scholarship between March and April 2024.
  • Applicants must make sure to meet the deadline for university admission, or they will not be eligible for the scholarship. Prepare everything beforehand, as the applications are open for a few days only.
