The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the national squad for the Hong Kong Sixes, naming Abbas Afridi as captain. The tournament will be held at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong from October 30 to November 1, with Pakistan among 12 teams. The PCB has selected a seven-member squad, and Raza Kitchlew has been appointed team manager. The team will leave for Hong Kong on October 28, two days before the tournament begins.

Tournament Format
The 12 teams are divided into four pools of three sides each. Pakistan have been placed in Pool C. The event will give Pakistan a chance to showcase its players in the fast-paced six-a-side format, which features shorter matches than conventional cricket.
