The provincial government decided on Wednesday to seek federal assistance for flood victims’ rehabilitation in the 2023 budget.

Bilawal Bhutto, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP), presided over a virtual conference attended by Murad Ali Shah, Naveed Qamar, Sherry Rehman, Hina Rabbani, and Shazi Marri to discuss the budget for 2023.

Participants raised their worries about the 2023 budget during a virtual discussion convened by Bilawal Bhutto. The issues concerning the rehabilitation of flood-affected individuals will be addressed to the federal government for discussion and decision-making.

The meeting concluded with a resolve to prioritize the matters concerning the restoration of the flood-affected victims.
