Awami Muslim League (AML) chief and former interior minister Sheikh Rashid warned the federal government against razing his residence Lal Haveli.
According to details, the AML chief claimed that the federal government first eliminated Lal Haveli’s security. He said that FC and Rangers delegated this responsibility to FIA after they declined to assist in sealing the Lal Haveli.
The former interior minister stated that the FIA had intended to have him arrested last night, but he is prepared to appear if the police station contacts him.
He issued a warning that he would pursue legal action against the FIA if they tried to conduct any operation inside Lal Haveli.
Sheikh Rasheed charged Rana Sanaullah with causing trouble in the city and attempting to block Rawalpindi with the help of a man going by the name of Asif.
He added that just the upper part of the Lal Haveli, where about 19 people reside, is in their custody.
The PTI chairman Imran Khan and PTI leader Asad Umar were congratulated by the head of AML for their comments regarding Lal Haveli.
Lal HaveIi’s seven units sealed ETBP
Earlier, the Awami Muslim League (AML) leader and former interior minister Sheikh Rashid’s mansion, Lal Haveli, had seven units shut off by the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB).
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), police, and ETPB workers arrived at Sheikh Rashid’s home to seal it in accordance with the court’s orders.
Asif Khan, the deputy administrator for ETPB, oversaw the operation. Khan said that Sheikh Siddique and Sheikh Rashid had ‘illegally’ occupied seven acres of Lal Haveli land.
It is important to note that the Evacuee Trust Properties Board (ETPB) reportedly developed a plan to leave Sheikh Rasheed’s home, Lal Haveli, within 24 hours on January 26.
Prior to the partition, Lal Haveli belonged to a Hindu woman, but once Sheikh Rasheed entered parliamentary politics in 1980, it was transformed into his political office.
