As per the reports, Saudi Arabia is keen to purchase the honey produced by the billion tree project of Pakistan. The project is said to be expanded in the next two years as per the plans of PM Imran Khan. The plan is to begin a 2 Billion PKR honey project, with 3 quality control laboratories. Moreover, the project will contain 30 collection stations, contributing 9% to the honey production.

Amin Aslam the advisor on climate change donated the honey harvested to Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki the Saudi ambassador, along with UK High Commissioner Christian Turner. It demonstrates the popularity of the honey from the billion tree tsunami project among diplomats. Saudia Arabia’s ambassador showed interest in the country buying all the honey produced from the project.
