SadaPay enables Apple Pay invoicing for freelancers in Pakistan

SadaPay, a financial technology (Fintech) company in Pakistan, has introduced a new way for freelancers to get paid. They’ve announced that freelancers using their SadaBiz business accounts can now receive payments through Apple Pay.

This year, SadaPay launched SadaBiz, a special business account designed for freelancers. The goal was to make it easier for freelancers to receive payments from around the world without any hidden fees.

The announcement was made during SadaPay’s first-ever SadaSummit event, which brought together IT industry experts, freelancers, and early SadaBiz users. Besides the Apple Pay news, the event also featured discussions about Pakistan’s potential as a global hub for freelancers.

Freelancers in Pakistan face various challenges despite the country’s growing tech talent. They often lack information about opportunities, training resources, and access to international markets and clients. Apple Pay can make it much simpler for freelancers to connect with international clients.

The press release mentioned that Apple Pay has a user base of 550 million, surpassing PayPal’s 450 million. Payments made through Apple Pay are also four times greater than PayPal’s, and the service is rapidly growing. With over 2 billion iPhones globally equipped with Apple Pay, the reach is extensive.

SadaPay also plans to accept payments through Google Pay, which is gaining popularity globally.

The event also introduced “Sada-school,” a new platform offering freelancers masterclasses, knowledge, peer support, and mentorship. It aims to create a community of professionals who can share their expertise in various high-income skills like graphic design and programming.

According to Brandon Timinsky, the CEO of SadaPay, the goal is to support the talented youth in Pakistan. He believes that freelancing is the future for Pakistani youth, and the integration of Apple Pay is a big step in that direction. This initiative not only provides job opportunities for young talent but also brings valuable foreign exchange into Pakistan.
