According to Minister of State for Petroleum Dr. Musadik Malik, Pakistan is prepared to buy cheap oil from Russia; the first shipment will arrive in Pakistan next month via cargo.

The government has been successful in concluding talks with Russia in this regard, so Pakistan will import cheap oil from Russia next month to help the general public, said Dr. Musadik. He continued: “The first shipment will reach Pakistan next month through a cargo and the government would sell cheap oil after receiving this shipment.”

Malik said the government will implement a different tariff for the poor and elite class in response to a query on reducing the price of petrol and electricity. He said the government has already made progress in this regard and hoped to issue separate billing for the poor and rich classes.

Talking to a private TV channel, he said the poor segment will enjoy relief after the announcement of this tariff. Moreover, Marriyum Aurangzeb, the minister of information and broadcasting, declared on Sunday that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has resumed all of the development projects that had been put on hold by the Pakistan-Tehreek-e-previous Insaf’s administration.

Shehbaz Sharif constantly places a high focus on the growth and advancement of the populace as well as the lowering of unemployment in the nation, according to a statement she made. She remarked on how ironic it is that Shehbaz Sharif’s free flour initiative is currently causing controversy because previous leaders stole the people’s bread and sugar.

Marriyum Aurangzeb continued by saying that these individuals are opposed to the people of Punjab receiving free services like metro bus service, free bread, and free power.
