President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday strongly condemned the tragic killing of five passengers in a firing incident overnight in Balochistan’s Gwadar district, specifically in the Kalmat area.
According to Highway Police Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hafeez Baloch, five people were killed by armed men who blocked the highway late last night. Additionally, three long-body trailers transporting urea from Gwadar port were set on fire in the Tajaban area.
Officials reported that four of the victims were offloaded from a Karachi-bound passenger bus and killed in the Kalmat area, located between Pasni and Ormara.
