Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the Chinese Embassy on Monday to meet with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong and express his heartfelt condolences over the tragic loss of Chinese citizens in a terrorist attack in Karachi.

During the visit, the prime minister conveyed his profound sorrow and anger over the loss of innocent lives. He assured the ambassador that the government is fully committed to identifying the perpetrators of this heinous act and bringing them to justice swiftly.

“The protection of the lives and property of our Chinese brothers in Pakistan is a top priority for us,” stated the prime minister. He emphasized that the government will not tolerate any conspiracy aimed at straining Pakistan-China relations and will take strict action against those involved.

PM Sharif also pledged to personally oversee the ongoing investigation and ensure that security arrangements for foreign nationals in Pakistan are further strengthened.

Ambassador Jiang Zaidong expressed gratitude to the prime minister for the prompt response and swift initiation of the investigation. He conveyed his confidence in the Pakistani government’s ability to swiftly identify and apprehend those responsible.

He also expressed hope that justice would be served soon and that those responsible for the attack would be held accountable without delay.
