On Wednesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif acknowledged the historical brotherly relations between Pakistan and Kuwait and expressed Pakistan’s desire to strengthen the ties by turning them into a mutually beneficial economic relationship.

He made this comment during a phone call to Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf al-Sabah to convey his best wishes and warm greetings for Eidul Fitr.

The Kuwaiti prime minister responded warmly to PM Shehbaz’s Eid greetings and sent best wishes for the people of Pakistan. The two countries are celebrating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations this year, and both leaders agreed to celebrate it fittingly to solidify bilateral ties in all areas of mutual interest.

Also on Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the need to enhance institutional and economic linkages between Pakistan and Oman, given the historical fraternal ties between the two maritime neighbors.

He made this comment during a phone call to Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimur Al Said to convey his best wishes and warm greetings for Eid-ul-Fitr.

The Prime Minister highlighted the enormous potential for strengthening brotherly relations, especially in strategic, economic, and trade spheres. The Sultan warmly responded to the Prime Minister’s Eid greetings and sent his best wishes to the people of Pakistan. Both leaders reasserted their commitment to working together closely to further broaden bilateral relations and achieve common goals and aspirations for the two nations.
