PM calls for enhanced cooperation between Pakistan, Egypt in economic field

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has underscored the need for enhanced cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt in the economic field.

Speaking with Tarek Mohamed Dahroug of Egypt, who paid him a visit in Islamabad on Thursday, he also underlined the value of stronger leadership participation, interpersonal connections, and strengthened institutional ties.

During the meeting, they discussed further strengthening of Pakistan-Egypt relations and the upcoming COP-27 in Egypt.

Recalling his phone conversation with Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for Egypt's assistance and solidarity in the aftermath of Pakistan's destruction by floods caused by climate change.
