Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been assigned the crucial responsibility of facilitating travel arrangements for international teams participating in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The national flag carrier will provide domestic travel services, ensuring smooth transportation between the tournament venues in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the airline is working closely with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to organize special charter flights for the participating teams. Hybrid Model and India’s Participation
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to begin on February 19, 2025, with matches scheduled at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, National Stadium Karachi, and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Due to geopolitical considerations, the Indian team will not play in Pakistan and will instead participate under a hybrid model, playing their matches in Dubai.
