Leading companies from Pakistan’s oil and energy sector are poised to make a significant impact at the Pakistan Pavilion during ADIPEC 2024 in Abu Dhabi, showcasing their capabilities and pursuing strategic partnerships.

Organized by the Petroleum Institute of Pakistan (PIP), this participation underscores Pakistan’s growing prominence in the global energy landscape.

ADIPEC 2024 serves as a vital gathering for the entire energy industry, providing an excellent platform for companies to establish partnerships that align with evolving business models and innovations in response to the global energy ecosystem’s needs. The event encourages essential collaboration and dialogue across various sectors, including energy, technology, finance, maritime, logistics, manufacturing, and transportation—critical components for accelerating the energy transition and advancing climate action.

As a key entity within Pakistan’s energy sector, PIP represents 23 companies and over 550 individual members. Notable Pakistani companies participating in ADIPEC 2024 include major players such as PARCO, Pakistan State Oil, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Pakistan Refinery Limited, and Oil & Gas Development Company Limited. The initiative is further supported by Pakistan’s Ministry of Energy – Petroleum Division, highlighting the country’s commitment to energy development and international collaboration.

Ali Murtaza Abbas, Chairman of PIP, emphasized that the participating Pakistani companies exemplify the sector’s vast potential and the high-quality talent available in Pakistan. “PIP continually seeks opportunities to showcase our oil and energy sector. Our goal is to forge partnerships, explore new technologies, and promote cooperation for more efficient and cleaner energy solutions,” he stated.

Murtaza Abbas also noted that ADIPEC 2024 will enable Pakistani companies and professionals to leverage the benefits of this global forum for dialogue. Shehryar Omar, CEO of PIP, expressed optimism about the event, expecting meaningful engagement for Pakistani companies throughout the duration of the exhibition.

Since its establishment in 1963, PIP has advocated for Pakistan’s petroleum industry, uniting stakeholders across the sector to promote growth and collaboration within the country’s energy landscape.
