Dubai, UAE – The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the revised schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, following the tournament’s relocation from Bangladesh to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

One of the most anticipated matches will see Pakistan face their arch-rivals India on October 6 at the Dubai International Stadium, with the match set to begin at 2 p.m. This will be Pakistan’s second game in the tournament.

The competition, hosted in Dubai and Sharjah, will feature the world’s top cricketing nations as they vie for the prestigious title. Group A includes defending champions Australia, 2020 runners-up India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, while Group B will feature South Africa, England, 2016 champions West Indies, Bangladesh, and Scotland.

Sri Lanka and Scotland earned their spots in the tournament after successfully advancing through the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier held earlier this year in Abu Dhabi.

Each team will play four matches during the group stage, with the top two teams from each group moving on to the semi-finals scheduled for October 17 and 18. The winners of the semi-finals will compete in the grand final on October 20, with a reserve day in place for both the semi-finals and the final.

In total, 23 matches will be played across the two venues, with at least 10 warm-up games set to take place from September 28 to October 1.
