Pakistan Railways to spend Rs14b on rehabilitation of flood-hit infrastructure

14 billion rupees would be spent by Pakistan Railways to restore the infrastructure that was severely destroyed by the terrible rains and floods in Balochistan.

The federal government is reportedly about to provide the Railways Ministry with the funds it needs to begin the rehabilitation work.

After the flash floods washed away the lines in both Sindh and Balochistan, Pakistan Railways stopped operating its trains at numerous points, particularly in those two regions.
