Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, confirmed on Tuesday that Pakistan’s armed forces have successfully shot down 12 Indian drones in separate incidents across the country.

The drones were intercepted and neutralised in key locations including Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Bahawalpur, Miano (Sindh), Karachi, Chhor, Rawalpindi, and Attock. According to the DG ISPR, one drone crashed near Lahore, while several others were brought down near Rawalpindi, Chakwal, and Karachi.

In the drone strike near Lahore, four Pakistan Army personnel sustained injuries. Meanwhile, in Miano, Sindh, one civilian tragically lost their life as a result of an attack.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully vigilant and prepared to defend the nation’s sovereignty. He condemned recent acts by India, stating that Indian forces have deliberately targeted civilian areas and religious sites during the ongoing hostilities.
