Pakistan showcased an outstanding performance in the Baseball United Arab Classic, defeating India 12-0 in a powerful display that marked their third consecutive win. With this victory, Pakistan secured a place in the tournament’s knockout stage.

Throughout the game, Pakistan kept India on the defensive, allowing no opportunity for a comeback or even a single home run. The Pakistani team bolstered its lead with home runs in the second, fourth, and fifth innings, demonstrating their control over the match from start to finish.

Key players, including Romail Khan, Mohammad Younis, Zan Shariff, Jibran Murtaza, and Mohammad Hussain, delivered stellar performances that contributed to Pakistan’s success. Pakistani pitcher Faisal Hayat was instrumental in maintaining the pressure, effectively disrupting India’s batting momentum.

Pakistan’s team will face Afghanistan in their final group-stage match on November 9, with a clear path to the semifinals after their strong performance in the earlier games. In addition to India, Pakistan previously defeated Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), securing their position as a formidable contender in the competition.

Ranked 38th globally, Pakistan competes in Group A in this nine-team tournament alongside India, Bangladesh, UAE, and Afghanistan. The squad includes players Sameer Ahmed Khatri, Zan Shariff Von Schlegell, Amar Bilal Mahmood, Iyad Ansari, Pierce Romail Khan, Moosa Nonomiya, Syed Ali Shah, Syed Muhammad Shah, Hasnain Jan, Syed Muhib Shah, Muhammad Zohaib, Muhammad Younas, Muhammad Hussain, Muhammad Amjad Aslam, Shahzad Ahmad, Wasim Akram, Musharaf Khan, Jibran Aman Murtaza, Wahid, Faisal Hayat, Hussain Imam Shah, and Umair Imdad Bhatti.

With their momentum and strong team cohesion, Pakistan now looks forward to the next stages of the Baseball United Arab Classic.
