The nation will celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the motherland’s 75th Independence Day on Tomorrow [Sunday] with a renewed commitment to working in the spirit of the Pakistan Movement to transform the nation into a truly formidable Islamic welfare state.
The day will begin with a 21-gun salute at the province headquarters and a 31-gun salute at the Federal Capital.
At dawn, special prayers will be said at mosques for the nation’s peace, unity, and prosperity. An Islamabad ceremony to raise the national flag would serve as the focal point of the festivities.
Similar flag hoisting ceremonies will also be held at provincial, divisional and district headquarters level throughout the country.
