The meeting lasted for approximately 40 minutes, with both leaders addressing matters concerning national development, political stability, security, and the ongoing Afghan repatriation operation.

Political Stability and National Development:

Prime Minister Sharif expressed confidence that Pakistan’s national development had regained momentum, asserting that “the wheel of national development has got back on its track.” He emphasized that no individual or group would be allowed to engage in political sabotage aimed at destabilizing the country’s progress.

The Prime Minister further stated that political stability and law and order had been improving day by day. This positive trend is essential for Pakistan’s economic growth and overall national security.

Afghan Repatriation and Regional Security Efforts:

During the meeting, Naqvi briefed the Prime Minister on the ongoing efforts to repatriate Afghan nationals back to their homeland. The Interior Minister also updated the Prime Minister on the security measures being taken to ensure a smooth and safe process.

The security situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) was also discussed in detail, with both leaders agreeing on the importance of maintaining peace and order in these provinces to ensure uninterrupted national development.

Electricity Price Reduction and Political Harmony:

Naqvi congratulated Prime Minister Sharif for reducing electricity prices, a significant step for providing relief to the masses. He also briefed the PM about the political situation, reiterating the government’s position on ongoing political developments.

Prime Minister Sharif praised the political harmony within the ruling coalition, noting that the government and its allies should engage in constructive discussions within the parliament. He emphasized that such cooperation was vital for the stability of the nation.
