The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, wrote a letter to the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zukerberg, drawing his attention towards the hatred propagated against Muslims through his platform.

My letter to CEO Facebook Mark Zuckerberg to ban Islamophobia just as Facebook has banned questioning or criticising the holocaust. pic.twitter.com/mCMnz9kxcj

— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) October 25, 2020

He reminded him of the ban Facebook put against the content shared regarding the Holocaust and stated that he wants Mark to ban Islamophobia content from his platform in the same way.

Given the rampant abuse and vilification of Muslims on social media platforms, I would ask you to place a similar ban on Islamophobia and hate against Islam for Facebook that you have put in place for the Holocaust.
