Justice Ayesha Malik takes oath as first woman judge of SCP
Justice Ayesha Malik has taken oath as the first woman judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed administered the oath to her at a ceremony in Islamabad on Monday.
The minister expressed hope that the newly appointed judge will prove to be "an asset to our judicial hierarchy".
