After former prime minister Imran Khan was seen wearing one Jerdoni shirts at a meeting with Islamic scholar Tariq Jameel, sales of Jerdoni shirts surged.
In the photographs from the meeting, Imran Khan could be seen wearing Jerdoni’s white polo shirt. Sales of Jerdoni’s shirts then rose by 380 percent as a result. Imran Khan wore black slacks with a white polo shirt. The brand’s sales have soared by 380 percent in one day. The price of the shirt was $18.
In order to meet with Imran Khan, the former prime minister, Maulana Tariq Jameel went to Bani Gala. The meeting was convened following the announcement of the Election Commission of Pakistan’s decision regarding the matter of Pakistan Tehreek-I-illegal Insaf’s funding.
Speaking to the media, Maulana Jameel said, “Allah asks his people to repent before Him.” He further added that “politicians should not turn government into a Kabbadi ground.” He urged the sitting government to do something for the welfare of the people since inflation is hitting them hard.
