Govt launched "Lighter Bags" initiative for classes 1-5

Ministry of Education of govt launched the “Lighter Bags” initiative from class one to five on January 13th.

Govt launched "Lighter Bags" initiative for classes 1-5

“On the direction of Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood, the FDE in collaboration with the ministry has launched the initiative for bag free environment from class one to five.”

said a statement issued by the Education Ministry

Federal Directorate of Education in collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training launched this initiative.

The Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood gave the direction of the “Lighter Bag” Initiative.

Under govt launched lighter bags initiative. the students will only require copies as per schedule, school diary and pencil box.

In the first phase, pigeon holes and shelves have set up in classrooms of 20 model colleges. Soon, it will extend to other educational institutes.

The official inauguration of Lighter Bags, brighter students initiative will be next week.
