Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant decline on Saturday, following a downward trend in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold dropped by Rs1,100 per tola, settling at Rs276,200. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 943, reaching Rs 236,797 in the local market.
On the international front, gold prices fell by $11, bringing the new rate to $2,650 per ounce.
In contrast, silver prices in Pakistan remained steady at Rs3,400 per tola and Rs2,914.95 per 10 grams.
The decline comes a day after gold prices in Pakistan surged by Rs2,100, reaching a record high of Rs277,300 per tola, driven by global market trends.
Gold continues to remain volatile, reflecting fluctuations in the international market, while local investors keep a close watch on global economic conditions.
