On Wednesday, gold prices in Pakistan fell significantly, despite an increasing trend in the international market.
According to the Gems and Jewellers Association of Pakistan, the per tola price of gold fell by Rs2,400 to Rs222,100, while the price of a gramme fell by Rs2,050 to Rs190,415 per gramme.
The price of gold per ounce increased by $12 on the international market to $1972 per ounce.
