EX PM Imran Khan and PTI founder, has taken action by removing Sher Afzal Marwat, a prominent MNA known for his fiery rhetoric, from key party positions.

Sources close to the matter disclosed that this decision came following recommendations from PTI’s core committee. Additionally, Sher Afzal Marwat has been excluded from the list of individuals authorized to attend meetings with PTI founder at Adiala Jail. The new focal persons designated for these meetings include Umar Ayub, Barrister Ali Zafar, Shibli Faraz, and Barrister Gohar Ali Khan. The PTI leadership has duly informed the jail administration about these changes.

In another significant development, the Grand Opposition Alliance, comprising Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and several other major opposition parties, has announced plans for an anti-government movement post-Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to insider information, this newly formed opposition alliance, which also includes Sunni Ittehad Council, Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Majlis-e-Wadhat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), and Balochistan National Party (BNP), will organize its inaugural joint public gathering in Quetta on April 14.

Further adding to the opposition’s momentum, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) hinted at joining the alliance, as Liaquat Baloch from JI stated that their party would make a final decision after obtaining approval from Majlis Shura.
