CDWP approves four projects worth Rs137 billion

During its meeting on Wednesday, the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) approved four projects worth Rs. 136.74 billion.

Under the leadership of Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Dr. Mohammad Jahanzeb Khan, the forum considered six projects.

By 2024, the initiative hopes to limit poliovirus circulation to core reservoirs and common transmission corridors and eventually stop all poliovirus transmission inside the reservoirs. The Secretary of Health told the forum that the initiative to eradicate polio from the country will last five years.

The scope of work involves expanding the Pakistan Petroleum Corehouse by building a new storage capacity of 29,064 square feet, improving laboratory facilities for analytical services, and adding value to good samples.

Additional Secretary Ministry of Planning and Development (PD&SI), Secretary Ministry of Water Resources, Secretary Ministry of Health, Secretary Ministry of Petroleum, Chairman National Highway Authority, NHA, Members of the Planning Commission, and other key stakeholders were present at the meeting.
