Asia Cup 2023: PCB Proposes to Host Four Games in Pakistan, Remainder in UAE

The upcoming Asia Cup, scheduled to take place in Pakistan in September 2023, has become a point of contention between India and Pakistan due to political tensions between the two nations. As a result, India has declined to travel to Pakistan for the event.

To resolve the issue, Pakistan proposed a hybrid model during an Asian Cricket Council meeting, where all teams, except India, would play their matches in Pakistan. India, however, has also rejected this proposal and is now advocating for the entire tournament to be held at a neutral location.

As the situation continues to evolve, the cricketing world is closely monitoring the outcome, as the Asia Cup is one of the most prestigious cricket tournaments in the region, featuring top cricketing nations from across Asia.
