Pakistan’s esports legend “Arslan Ash” added another trophy to his collection by winning EVO France 2025, marking his seventh EVO championship across Tekken tournaments.
The tournament saw over 1,100 competitors in the Tekken 8 bracket alone. Arslan’s journey was tough: after dropping into the loser’s bracket, he defeated several top-tier players, including Qudans, KingReyJr, and Fergus, in high-stakes matches.
In the final, he faced Jeon “Jeondding” Sang-hyun, who had remained undefeated in the winners’ side. Arslan came in from the losers’ bracket and forced a bracket reset by defeating Jeondding in the first set, then won the second set to secure the championship. This victory not only reinforces Arslan Ash’s reputation as perhaps the greatest Tekken player currently active but also underscores his mental toughness and ability to perform under pressure.
With seven EVO titles now, Arslan Ash continues to lead the global Tekken scene. His wins span continents, tournaments, and different versions of EVO (including Japan, USA, and now Europe).
This triumph has been praised not only in the esports community but also among fans in Pakistan and worldwide, further solidifying his legacy in competitive gaming.
