Army Reached Every Corner of Pakistan To Maintain SOPs

Major General Babar Iftikhar – DG ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations) in the recent press conference in Rawalpindi, ensured that the Pakistan Army has reached every corner of Pakistan to maintain the SOPs keeping in view the rising COVID-19 cases.

The teams dedicated to serve the country in maintain SOPs to help ensure the stop of the spread, will be on administration division level and district level led by brigadiers and lieutenant colonels respectively.

Weekly meetings will be taken to discuss the overall situation of the areas and a plan of action will be decided in accordance with the provincial apex committees, explained the DG – ISPR. Furthermore, he said,

“The primary purpose of deployment of army troops is to help civil institutions and law enforcement agencies,” he said, adding that like the last time, Pakistan Army had decided not to claim any sort of internal security allowance during the deployment.

“In this testing time, Pakistan Army will use all its capabilities to take every possible step for the protection of citizens and their lives. [We] will go to every corner of Pakistan to ensure the protection of citizens.”
