AirSial has made a huge step forward in its international expansion by adding flights to Jeddah. When it begins operations, the airline plans to offer two weekly flights from Sialkot, as well as five weekly flights from Multan and Karachi.

The UAE Consul General in Karachi, Bakheet Ateeq Al-Rumaithi, together with AirSial Chairman Fazal Jilani, officially launched the airline’s debut international flight at Sialkot International Airport.

A simple yet lovely ceremony, emphasised by a symbolic cake-cutting gesture, honored the occasion. Representatives from Sialkot International Airport and AirSial were also present, adding to the occasion’s significance.

Al-Rumaithi expressed his deep gratitude to AirSial’s Chairman and the entire team for the airline’s successful growth of foreign flight operations.

He praised the progress made, emphasising that the debut of international airlines is another notable success, following the development of an international airport by Sialkot’s business community.

The UAE Consul General reflected on his own experience, saying, “I have traveled with AirSial and my experience was nothing short of excellent.”

AirSial’s international debut follows its domestic debut on December 25, 2020, when it introduced Airbus A320-200 aircraft to operate the Karachi-Islamabad route. Three Airbus A320-200 planes comprised the inaugural fleet.

The airline, which was conceived by members of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and market, has received authorised airline status and has quickly established itself as a significant participant in the aviation market.
