13 Pakistani Universities Feature in QS World University Rankings 2023

13 Pakistani universities were included in the recently released QS World University Rankings for 2023, with the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Islamabad ranking first among 1,500 universities worldwide.

NUST Islamabad is ranked 334th, Quaid-i-Azam University is ranked 363rd, and the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) is ranked 390th. Only three Pakistani universities made the top 500 QS World University Rankings.

Here is the complete list of Pakistani universities in the QS World University Rankings for 2023:

Each year, the QS World University Rankings consider the following indicators when compiling these rankings:

Academic reputation.

Employer reputation.

Faculty to student ratio.

International faculty.

International students.

Citations per faculty.

The top three spots for 2023 have been claimed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the University of Cambridge, and Stanford University
