On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif paid heartfelt respect to journalists all around the world.
The Prime Minister stated in a message posted on the social media site Twitter that the work of Pakistani journalists in particular is laudable since they provide knowledge and enlightenment to the public.
According to the Prime Minister, journalists labor in an environment that is often full of problems and risks, but they never shirk their obligations.
Shahbaz Sharif went on to say that the press’s position as a watchdog has contributed to the development of democratic and transparent governance theories.
