Top 10 expensive cities have been listed, after an annual survey was conducted by the Economist Magazine.

In this survey the most expensive city is Tel Aviv, while the cheapest city is Damascus, to live in.

1. TEL AVIV, ISRAEL

Tel Aviv, Israel, is the most expensive city to live in .

2. PARIS, FRANCE

This time Paris, was ranked 2nd according to survey. There is a tie between Paris and Singapore.

3. SINGAPORE CITY, SINGAPORE

Singapore City and Paris are ranked 2nd in the list.

4. ZURICH, SWITZERLAND

Due to economic crisis brought by Covid 19, Zurich ranking has dropped to 4th number, this year.

5. HONG KONG, CHINA

Hong Kong, is at 5th place as the prices of commodities has decreased.

6. NEW YORK CITY, USA

New York City, USA, is ranked 6th as cities with stronger currencies than US dollar, are listed higher.

7. GENEVA, SWITZERLAND

Another city of Switzerland, Geneva, is included in this list.

8. COPENHAGEN, DENMARK

Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital is on 8th number because of relatively high transport, recreation and personal care costs.

9. LOS ANGELES, USA

Los Angeles, because overall living cost is very high to live in it.

10. OSAKA, JAPAN

Osaka, Japan, another Asian city, is also included in the list of top expensive cities.
