On Monday, the Supreme Court will hear a petition filed by Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi against Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari’s ruling on the election of Punjab CM. The three-member bench will be headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

The government has decided to provide foolproof security for the SC and Red Zone ahead of the opening of the superior court tomorrow.

In response to the heightened security concerns, the anti-riot squad will be dispatched to the Red Zone.

After making the decision, the government has come to the point that it will not allow any political party workers to come near the Supreme Court, however, they will only be allowed to enter the Red Zone after showing their office cards to the authorities.

It is noteworthy that on Saturday, a large number of political workers gathered outside the Supreme Court Lahore Branch Registry. After that, the security institutions issued a warning about the possibility of another gathering of workers tomorrow outside the SC, during the hearing on the election of the Punjab CM.
