The Caretaker Sindh government constituted a seven-member committee on Wednesday to oversee development projects overseen by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).
The caretaker Sindh government resolved to supervise development projects under the KMC to maintain transparency in Karachi’s multi-billion rupee development projects.
The Municipal Department has been informed by the Department of Planning and Development to supervise the development of highways, subterranean passageways, parks, and other projects costing billions of dollars.
Meanwhile, a seven-member committee has been formed under the auspices of Sindh’s caretaker government to monitor the projects from November 21 to December 21.
The quality of the development initiatives will be reviewed by the created committee, which will include relevant specialists.
