Lahore – Pakistan’s premier fast bowlers, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf, added a new feather to their caps by becoming the latest Pakistani bowlers to reach the 300-wicket mark in T20 cricket, during their match against Islamabad United in HBL Pakistan Super League Season 10 (PSL X).
Shaheen Afridi reached the historic milestone in his 216th T20 match, making him the fastest Pakistani and fourth-fastest bowler in the world to reach 300 T20 wickets. His rapid rise continues to reflect his dominance in white-ball formats and his reputation as a match-winner in high-pressure games.
Haris Rauf followed closely, achieving the feat in his 228th T20 appearance, becoming the second-fastest Pakistani to enter the 300-wicket club. His express pace and wicket-taking abilities have made him a vital component of Pakistan’s T20 attack and a fan favorite in leagues across the world.
Previously, the record for the fastest Pakistani to 300 T20 wickets was held jointly by Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz, both reaching the mark in 256 innings. Shaheen and Haris have now surpassed that benchmark, underlining their elite status in the format.
