The Minister said the investigation of the incident is underway. And he said that they will hold perpetrators of the terrorist activities accountable to the law.

Sheikh Rashid said deadlock over negotiations with TTP came due to their unacceptable conditions.

He said they killed two terrorists of TTP in Islamabad on the 18th of this month. And they will take the same action against anyone who will try to spoil the peace of the motherland.

Moreover, The Minister said our nation paid a heavy price for peace restoration in the country. And he also said they will not allow anyone to spoil it at any cost. Furthermore, he said we have sacrificed more than 80,000 lives. And suffered an economic loss of around 150 billion dollars for this purpose.

Regarding speculations about the Presidential system in the country, he said:

“The cabinet has not discussed any such moves.”

Sheikh Rashid expressed hope that PM will complete his tenure. And the current opposition will not succeed in any undemocratic move.

The Minister urged the opposition to postpone their rally of 23rd March. Because OIC world leaders will be in the Federal Capital during those days.
