The Saudi Embassy celebrates the anniversary of the issuance of the postal stamp honoring the visit to Saudi Arabia of the previous governor-general of Pakistan, Ghulam Muhammad.

On Sunday (9-Oct-22), in honor of World Post Day, the Saudi embassy tweeted to commemorate Saudi postage stamps.

The postal stamp honoring former Pakistani Governor General Ghulam Muhammad’s historic visit to Saudi Arabia in 1953 and his meeting with Saudi founder King Shah Abdul Aziz was issued, and its birthday was celebrated by the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad.

The government of Pakistan tweeted; On World Post Day, Saudi Arabia released a postage stamp symbolizing the historic visit of the former Governor General of Pakistan, Ghulam Muhammad, to Saudi Arabia and his meeting with the founder of Saudi Arabia, King Abdulaziz.

This postal stamp provides a thorough explanation of the nature and depth of the bonds that unite the two brotherly nations. It also shows Saudi Arabia and Pakistan’s ambitions to improve and strengthen their bilateral ties and their resolve to find peaceful and amicable solutions to the problems and issues that face the Islamic world.
