Samsung Chairman dies at 78

Lee Kun-Hee faced demise at the age of 78 years. He was the chairman of Samsung Group, one of the largest brand-name in South Korea and the rest of the world.

Mr. Lee worked to grow his father’s business into a leading brand, enabling it with more fields with the inclusion of shipping, insurance, etc.

With Kun-Hee’s hard work and dedication, Samsung Electronics also grew and flourished. He helped to make Samsung the leading technology firm in the world.

Forbes verifies that Lee Kun-Hee was the wealthiest person in South Korea. He owned a property worth around $21bn (£16bn) under his name.

The chairman died on Sunday where he had all his family by his side to mourn for him. No specific cause of death has been known until now. Kun-Hee had a heart attack earlier in 2014 since then his health had worsened.
